# Why are push notifications not being received?

First check whether the issue affects Android, iOS or both.

- On the phone, check that notifications are allowed for the app.
- In WPMobile, check the Firebase configuration or Apple certificate and the selected recipient.
- If notifications are not being sent, ask your hosting provider to check WordPress scheduled tasks (WP-Cron).

If the issue persists, tell WPMobile which platform is affected and the time of a test.
