# How do I configure Android notifications with Firebase?

Create a project in the Firebase console and add your Android app using the package name shown in the WPMobile dashboard.

In the Firebase project settings, open Service accounts and generate a private key. Upload this file in WordPress under WPMobile > Notifications > Settings > Android. Keep this key confidential.
